Week 1: The Lineup

Week 2/3
Lots of changes these past two week. All the puppies eyes have opened and everyone is walking (a bit drunkenly). The puppies are starting to interact more with each other and are biting each others ears and tails. Lots of fun to just sit and watch them.
Week 4/5
The puppies are 5 weeks old now, much more active and alert. They are eating puppy food 4 times a day (a really messy affair) and still drinking Bella's milk. They are very mobile and we are taking out their whelping box this weekend to give them more space to explore. They play alot together and with us, licking us and biting us they do have teeth but not big enough ones to do any damage. They continue to grow like weeds and are incredibly cute.

Week 6
The puppies will be 6 weeks old on Tuesday November 6th. Wow time is flying by! Their teeth are much stronger and sharper now and it hurts a little when they nibble on your toe. They are play fighting quite a bit, lots of chewing on each other ears and tails. They love to explore and when we bring them into the family room under the couch seems to be a popular spot. They had their first meal of dry puppy kibble tonight, it went over very well. All puppies range in the 3.5lb to 4.5lb range and they all seem happy and content.
Week 8
The Puppies are almost 8 weeks old, they have received their first vaccination, been micro-chipped and examined by my vet. Everyone is sound and healthy. Some of the puppies are heading off to their new homes in the next few days. We will truly miss them! Have a look at our beautiful babies, we think they are the most handsome litter ever.
